About Me

I'm Hiraeth. I'll fill this out later- but, this is planned to be a companion website for a YouTube channel where I cover a lot of pieces of history I enjoy. I'm nearly finished with an undergraduate degree in Military History, and I plan on pursuing a Master's Degree in Military History.

The point of this website is to facilitate a simple Q&A for anyone interested, give a brief overview of who I am (in this About Me I have yet to actually write), and do a deeper dive into my videos research- basically, the videos will be focused on infotainment, and this website will exist as a way to allow those who are nerds (such as myself) to dive deeper into the research and reasons I argue whatever I argue.

I love history channels on YouTube. I hate how little they cover their expansive research and just leave that behind-the-scenes. This is my compromise for that.

All of the writing and research is done by me, Hiraeth, without AI. This website however was absolutely designed by AI, because I know jack shit about HTML. It did a decent job for what I wanted. It was either this or a GeoCities- so get over it. Cheers.
